Subprocessors

This page identifies service providers involved in delivering Languvia. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

1. Providers and purposes

The providers involved depend on the features used and the enabled configuration. Not every provider receives every customer’s information. Languvia’s published notices identify the following services. Languvia Provider Purpose Information involved DeepL Automated translation Selected source text and language information. 2. Provider roles

A provider acts as a subprocessor when it processes customer-controlled personal information on Languvia’s behalf. Providers supporting Languvia’s own account administration may instead be our direct processors.

Some providers also determine their own processing purposes. For example, Cloudflare distinguishes between providing Turnstile to website operators and independently improving its bot-detection capabilities. Those independent activities are governed by the provider’s applicable privacy notice.

3. Protection and processing locations

We require subprocessors to follow contractual confidentiality, security and data-protection obligations equivalent to those applicable under our DPA. Languvia remains responsible for their performance of those obligations.

Processing locations depend on the provider and configuration. Where international-transfer requirements apply, the appropriate transfer mechanism and necessary safeguards must be established before the transfer. This page does not replace those arrangements.

4. Changes and enquiries

We will notify affected customers before adding or replacing a subprocessor and provide an opportunity to raise reasonable data-protection objections under the DPA. Updating this page alone does not replace required authorisation or advance notice.
