Acceptable Use Policy

This Policy applies to Languvia’s translation platform, plugins, connected websites, publishing tools and support services. Read it together with our Terms of Service.

1. Authorised and lawful use

Use Languvia only for lawful purposes and websites you own or are authorised to manage. You must have the necessary rights to submit, translate and publish content, including any required permission to process personal information.

Protect your account credentials and manage access responsibly. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary sensitive information through translation or support requests.

2. Prohibited activities

You must not use Languvia to distribute malware, conduct phishing or fraud, steal credentials, impersonate others deceptively, exploit children, threaten people or facilitate unlawful harassment.

You must not infringe copyright, privacy or other legal rights; access another customer’s information without permission; or interfere with the security or operation of the Services.

Lawful journalism, research, legitimate complaints and honest criticism are not prohibited merely because they discuss controversial or harmful conduct.

3. Fair usage and service limits

Stay within your plan’s disclosed website, language, translation and processing limits. Do not bypass billing, security or usage controls; create accounts to evade trial restrictions; deliberately overload infrastructure; or resell cloud access without authorisation.

We may proportionately limit processing that threatens service stability. We will not impose undisclosed retrospective overage charges. Nothing in this Policy restricts rights granted by an applicable open-source software licence.

4. Responsible publishing

You remain responsible for your source material, publication decisions and translated content. Arrange appropriate human review where errors could have serious consequences, particularly for legal, medical, financial or safety-related information.

Do not present automated output as independently verified or professionally certified unless it has actually received that verification or certification.

5. Enforcement and reporting

We may investigate suspected misuse, restrict affected processing or suspend access. Serious or repeated breaches may result in termination under our Terms.

Where practical, we will explain the concern and allow an opportunity to correct it. Immediate restrictions may be necessary to prevent harm or comply with law.

You may report misuse or appeal a restriction through Languvia support or legal@languvia.com. Relevant evidence will be handled under our Privacy Policy. Enforcement does not automatically remove a valid refund entitlement or other mandatory legal rights.
